Voldo has always had pretty suspect character designs, but in Soul Calibur V, the dude is wearing a fucking tarantula-head cod piece. I’m equally curious and preemptively disturbed for what Namco decides to do with him next. The dude’s my favorite character in the series too. I wish they could assign him another outfit that had at least a little bit of tact, like his SCII outfit.

I adore Voldo. But I’m not digging the bright colors of his costume, even if it is based on a bug.

Isn’t that design based on a dimorphic jumping spider? (here be a photo of a spider, be warned)
