Well, not exactly, but you'll never hear any different. Like most of my life, I find myself doing something that John has somehow convinced me to do. Something about ranting on the internet is good for mental health. Like I have any of that left.
As the url suggests, I'm kind of a monster. Though that's not my fault. At least in the literal sense. Because of a series of unfortunate events and a plot to take over (or destroy?) the world as we know it, I can see shit and am kind of some kind of shitty expert at the paranormal.
Um. Hi.
((This is an independent JOHN DIES AT THE END rp blog.))
David has an extreme sweet tooth. If you need him to do something he doesn’t want to, try offering pie.
He never knew his dad as far as he’s aware, but he’s been having dreams that seem like memories of a well dressed man who would appear repeatedly throughout his life, but he can never see the man’s eyes. They’re always wearing sunglasses.
The only time his mom would ever talk about his dad, she would refer to him as “that monster”.
What finally got his mom sent away was her trying to kill David at the age of five. When drowning him in the bathtub didn’t work, she stabbed him with a kitchen knife. This is when the baby sitter walked in. He still has a scar on his left side.
Though he’s changed his phone number numerous times to “get away from John”, he honestly can’t imagine life without him.
He really likes showers and baths. Not in a clean freak way; he just likes the warm water. He’ll often shower till the hot water runs out or just soak. Sometimes he falls asleep in the tub.
Though he loves Amy to death, he fears that may be the problem. He distances himself to keep her safe and wishes she could just have a normal life with a normal human boyfriend, but can never bring himself to turn her away.
He wonders why he’s friends with John at least two times a day and then remembers that John’s the only one who’s never left him.
Once and a while, his eyes will turn blue (mostly when he’s just woken up or really angry). John thinks this is funny and adorable. It makes Amy nervous.
He honestly believes that if John weren’t there, he would just give up.
David doesn’t sleep very much anymore because his dreams feel more like memories of things he doesn’t remember.
It worries him that he’s a “Korrok baby” (as John puts it) but still, as far as he knows, David. He’s afraid he’ll wake up one day and won’t be anymore.
Pumpkin and apple pie is the best. Your argument is invalid.
Normally, David’s eyes are a pale gray (his hair is black). His mom’s eyes were chocolate brown and she had blond hair.
David hasn’t bothered to renew his contact prescription since he hasn’t needed to use them as much since he died, but sometimes his vision gets blurry if he’s tired or has to look at something up close (like reading), though he’s embarrassed to wear his glasses.
It sometimes frustrates him how patient and understanding Amy can be but he’s also afraid that one day that patience will run out.
He never liked Code Red much until after he died.
He tries not to think of who (or what version of himself) might be in control during his missing time episodes.
It doesn’t surprise him that there may be “fiction” about him in other worlds - he’s seen stranger things. (Breaking the fourth wall?)
Fuck you. Fuck you is why.
Once in a while, he’ll be struck with violent migraines.
